As in previous years, Eid al-Adha has become a meaningful time for growing solidarity with those in need across the world. Thanks to a campaign supported by volunteers, sacrificial animals were sacrificed and meat distributed in seven different countries across Africa and Asia. The project specifically targeted impoverished families in hard-to-reach areas. The sacrificial animals were slaughtered under hygienic conditions under the supervision of local teams and distributed to those in need.
During this process, each donor received transparent reports, photos, and videos of the sacrifice and distribution of their animal. This allowed supporters to see firsthand that their aid was truly reaching those in need. Through one-on-one communication with the local community during distributions, not only aid was provided but also a bond of affection was built.
The sacrifice event was seen not only as an aid effort but also as a way to share cultural and human values. In addition to sacrificial meat, small holiday gifts, hygiene kits, and clothing aid were also provided to children in the aided areas. All these efforts once again demonstrated how the spirit of international volunteerism is reflected in the field.
